I am a leader as my strengths have already been tested with 25 years of working my way up through the ranks with the Sacramento Sheriff's Department and as a ten-year veteran on the Elk Grove City Council.

I have given back to the Sacramento Community through fundraising efforts supporting organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento, the Children's Receiving Home, WIND Youth Services and many other youth programs.
